Thai and Cambodian authorities have agreed to hold a General Border Commission (GBC) meeting this month, instead of June as previously scheduled, Defence Ministry spokesman Thanathip Saengsawang said yesterday.
It will be determined later where the GBC Thailand-Cambodia meeting
will be held, Thanathip said, after the recent bilateral talks with
Cambodian Defence Minister Tea Banh during the Asean Defence Ministers'
Meeting.
Thanathip also spoke about cooperation with Malaysia and Singapore in defence industrial technology.
Early
next month, a workshop will be held on weapon development and defence
technology for self-reliance between the Thai and Malaysian defence
ministries.
